KUCHING, Aug 23: Sabah Head of State’s wife Toh Puan Norlidah RM Jasni paid a courtesy visit to Sarawak Head of State’s wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib in Demak Jaya here today.
According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) in a news report, the courtesy visit was held in conjunction with Norlidah’s official three-day visit to Sarawak until Friday.
The special aircraft carrying Norlidah together with 28 delegates from Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) landed at the Kuching International Airport (KIA) at about 1.25pm today.
They were warmly welcomed by the Premier’s wife Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang who was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, Deputy State Secretary (Operation) Datu Dr Sabariah Putit and other distinguished guests.
Sabah’s delegation included Sabah Chief Minister’s wife Datin Seri Panglima Juliah Salag and Sabah State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker’s wife Datin Noraini Salleh.
Upon arrival, Norlidah and delegates visited the Songket and Keringkam Gallery at Jalan Masjid.
The group is expected to attend a banquet on board the Sarawak River Cruise this evening.— DayakDaily
