MIRI, June 21: Work on all 54 rural transformation projects (RTP) in Sibuti constituency is progressing as scheduled, assures Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni.

“The projects are progressing smoothly,” he said when met after visiting four longhouses in Sepupok today.

The longhouses he visited were Rumah Aron, Rumah Jelenggai, Rumah Malina and Rumah Enju.

Lukanisman said the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg had always been committed to bringing development to the people.

Meanwhile, when visiting the longhouses, Lukanisman spent time listening to the views and suggestions of the villagers concerning wide-ranging issues, including the need to improve infrastructure in their respective areas.

“Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) will always strive for the betterment of the people,” he assured. — DayakDaily
