KUCHING, May 27: The roof of a shop at MJC, Batu Kawa, here caught fire on Monday night (May 26).
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 10.32pm, and firefighters from the Batu Lintang and Kota Sentosa stations were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that the fire involved rubbish on the roof of a shop, which was severely damaged after the incident.
Firefighters proceeded to extinguish the flames, and after ensuring that the fire did not spread, they returned to their stations. Fortunately, no casualties were reported during the incident.
