KUCHING, Feb 3: The construction of bridges and concrete drainage, including road upgrading works in Kampung Sungai Midin and Kampung Samariang Pinggir in Samariang will be carried out under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP).
According to Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) in a report today, Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali officiated at the symbolic handover of the project site to the contractors.
During her visit to the site, Sharifah Hasidah, who is the Samariang assemblywoman, took note of the explanation from the appointed contractor under the supervision of the Public Works Department (JKR) Kuching Division, regarding the work that will be implemented later.
She also hoped that all the plans will be carried out smoothly without any problems. — DayakDaily
