KUCHING, July 17: The fuel price for RON97, RON95 and diesel price for the period of July 18 to 24 will remain unchanged as compared to the price of last week from July 10 to 17.
According to a press statement from the Finance Ministry, the weekly setting of the retail price for petroleum products for the period of July 18 to 24 follows the automatic pricing mechanism (APM).
Hence, the ministry said the retail price for RON97, RON95 and diesel prices will remain unchanged.
It revealed that the price for RON97 will stay at RM2.02 per litre, RON95 at RM1.72 a litre and diesel price at RM1.87 per litre.
It asserted that the federal government is closely monitoring the effect of changes in crude oil price and taking proactive measures to ensure the welfare of the people are taken care of. —DayakDaily
