KUCHING, June 25: Road users are advised to be cautious when travelling from Jalan Stephen Yong to the Sarawak Heart Centre in Kota Samarahan from 9pm to 4am, as large steel frame structures for the Autonomous Rapid Transit (ART) station are being transported along this route.
According to a notice issued by Sarawak Metro, the steel frames will be moved from the production plant at Jalan Stephen Yong to the ‘SM05’ station near the Sarawak Heart Centre, with routes including Jalan BDC, Jalan Stutong, and the Kuching-Samarahan Expressway.
The transportation started yesterday and will take place over the next two nights; today and tomorrow (June 25 and 26), between 9pm and 4am.
“Please adhere to all traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limit, to ensure the safety of all road users and movers,” Sarawak Metro said.
Road users are also advised to plan their journey accordingly.
