KUCHING, Sept 20: Several roads in Kuching will close from 6pm to 10pm on Sept 27 for the Live Cat Parade 2025.
In a statement, Kuching district police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said the programme will involve participants and their pet cats parading through the streets. The affected areas are:

- Jalan Market/Jalan Power
- Lebuh Java/Jalan Gambier
- Lebuh Temple/Jalan Main Bazaar
- Jalan Courthouse (Plaza Merdeka)
He also requested the public’s cooperation in not parking their vehicles along these roads, planning their journeys, and using alternative routes to lessen traffic congestion.
