RMAF flies heart disease patient home to Kuching

KUCHING, June 12: A 71-year-old patient receiving treatment for heart disease at National Heart Institute (IJN) Kuala Lumpur was flown back on a mercy flight from Subang to Kuching by the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) on Friday morning.

The flight had taken off at 7.32 AM and landed safely in Kuching around 9 AM using No.22 Squadron’s A400M aircraft. The flight was piloted by Maj Khairul Ikhmal Ishak assisted by Capt Mohammad Ridhwan Yahaya.


According to RMAF’s statement, the patient will continue to receive his treatment at Sarawak Heart Centre in Kota Samarahan so that the victim’s family can take care of him.—DayakDaily
