KUCHING, March 16: A total of 92 students from the Kapit parliamentary area were selected to receive incentives worth RM46,000 to motivate them to continue striving in their education for a better future.
According to Kapit MP Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, he believes that education is a vital aspect which should be invested in to help the people improve their living standards and futures.
“In this regard, my political secretary, Ambrose Abong Bugek, represented me in presenting incentives totalling RM46,000 to students in the Kapit parliamentary area on March 15,” he said in a Facebook post.
Nanta, who is also the Works Minister, said he has always emphasised the development of education in his area because knowledge is the key to progress.
“Thank you to all parties involved in making this event a success, including community leaders, teachers, and parents who always support efforts to strengthen education in Kapit.
“May the students in Kapit continue to excel in their studies and inspire more to achieve success in the future,” he said. — DayakDaily
