RM400,000 allocation to upgrade Kampung Haji Baki’s drainage system, mosque

KUCHING, Sept 13: An allocation of RM400,000 will be used to upgrade the drainage system and the mosque at Kampung Haji Baki here, said Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang this morning.

“A sum of RM300,000 will be spent on the drainage system in Kampung Haji Baki area, which has three different zones, with RM100,000 being allocated for each zone,” he said during the Gotong Royong Perdana Bersempena Programme in conjunction with Kampung Haji Baki’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Masjid Darul Ehsan here.


According to Lo, another RM100,000 would be used in upgrading the mosque facilities in Kampung Haji Baki area.

Meanwhile, he also urged the public to practice the spirit of communal work in the area as it will strengthen the cooperation between each other.

“By doing so, the relationship between the neighbors will be strengthened,” Lo pointed out.

He also expressed his gratitude to the villagers who had participated in the event.- DayakDaily
