His team is currently finalising discussions regarding the gallery’s construction.

“In line with its name, this gallery will highlight concepts that lead to the developments in Sarawak, particularly involving the Muslim community, with focus on economic growth and the strengthening of the ummah, with concepts linked to the philosophy of Ibnu Khaldun,” he said when met by reporters after the Majlis Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri organised by IIC-MIS yesterday.

He also shared that the gallery will also house scholarly and historical materials related to Ibnu Khaldun, while also preserving vital historic information including about the arrival of Islam, the Islamic administration systems, and notable Islamic scholars of the past.

Among those present at the event were Islamic Council of Sarawak president Datuk Misnu Taha and IIC-MIS chief executive officer Tazudin Mohtar. – DayakDaily
