Restaurants, eateries, hawker stalls and food trucks allowed to operate until midnight from April 13-26

KUCHING, April 11: Restaurants, eateries, hawker stalls and food trucks are allowed to operate from 6 am until 12 midnight under the CMCO from April 13 to 26.

According to the updated Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) standard operating procedures (SOPs) from the National Security Council (MKN), the operating hours for restaurants, eateries, hawker stalls and food trucks under the seventh CMCO in Sarawak have been extended from 10pm to 12 midnight.

Shopping malls and retail stores are also allowed to operate in accordance to SOPs between 6am until 12 midnight.


MKN said the operation of farmers markets, wholesale markets, uptown and downtown markets, and night market can operate with observation from the local authorities and the People’s Volunteers Corps (Rela) from 6am to 12 midnight.

However, farmers markets, wholesale markets, uptown and downtown markets as well as night markets in Covid-19 red zones are not permitted to operate.

Meanwhile, launderettes and petrol stations are also allowed to operate from 6am to 12 midnight. — DayakDaily
