Residents called to cooperate with volunteers to identify eligible individuals for e-Kasih assistance

KUCHING, Jan 7: Kuala Rajang assemblyman Datu Len Talif Salleh has called for cooperation from all residents in Kuala Rajang to help identify eligible individuals for the E-Kasih assistance.

According to a report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Len Talif, who is also Assistant Minister for Natural Resources and Urban Development, said this is to ensure that every eligible individual can receive assistance from the government.

“This initiative aims to maximise the registration of eligible groups in Kuala Rajang constituency into the E-Kasih database systems to facilitate the distribution of various government assistance from time to time,” he said.


Len Talif added E-Kasih is also one of the database systems created at the national level to assist, plan, implement, monitor, and channel assistance from the Federal government.

On Thursday, several volunteers from each area in the Kuala Rajang constituency and community leaders were mobilised to help obtain information on residents who are eligible for the assistance. ― DayakDaily
