KUCHING, Aug 4: Sarawak PKR unveiled its 12th Sarawak Election manifesto today.
A statement from Sarawak Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) information chief Abun Sui Anyit revealed that at the top of the list is the restoration and protection of Native Customary Rights (NCR) land among the peoples of Sarawak.
Second on the list is the provision of clean water, electricity, safe transport and housing.
Third on the list is the provision of safe roads while fourth is the strive to bring about quality education and youth employment.
Universal healthcare access and the upgrading of hospitals and rural clinics throughout Sarawak is the sixth on the list while digital connectivity, e-government, e-heatlh, e-education and e-trading come in at seventh on the list.
PKR’s eighth promise is anti-corruption, reform and good government.
Reforestation and sustainable agriculture is the ninth promise while resolving of undocumented people, protection and empowerment of women and children is the last item on the list.
“To ensure the above ‘offers’ can be implemented by Keadilan if given the mandate by the peoples of Sarawak, anti-corruption value and good governance practised by Keadilan will be the pillar and guideline to make sure the ‘offers’ materialised.
“Thus, Keadilan Sarawak requests from the voters of Sarawak to bring about change in the state with Pakatan Harapan in Sarawak,” Abun disclosed. — DayakDaily
