KUCHING, May 12: Premises identified as high-risk Covid-19 exposure areas under Hotspot Identification for Dynamic Engagement (Hide) are required to reduce the number of patrons allowed onto the premises to 25 per cent of capacity only.

As per the most recent standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued, premises listed under Hide are required to take subsequent actions and enforce control measures to ensure they are not exposed to unnecessary risks directly related to Covid-19.

Apart from that, these premises need to tighten entry by ensuring that only patrons and customers classified as low risk are allowed onto the premises.

All staff and workers should also monitor their health for 14 days and undergo Covid-19 tests if they have shown symptoms.

Meanwhile, dining in is not permitted in restaurants, eateries, cafes as well as stalls selling food and beverages under the latest circuit breaker restrictions throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period.

However, eateries and food outlets are allowed to operate from 6am to 10pm for take-aways, drive-thru and deliveries only.

Supermarkets, shopping malls, retail stores, hardware stores, variety stores, launderettes, petrol stations and other economic activities are allowed to operate with compliance to SOPs. — DayakDaily
