KUCHING, Oct 25: The dissolution of Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) and its members’ subsequent move to Progressive Democratic Party (PDP), have raised questions over seating arrangements in the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUS).
According to TVS, Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is expected to issue a statement on the matter.
“I will make a statement later,” he told reporters after flagging off the Rimbun International Sematan Run 2026 here today.
PSB was dissolved on April 6, 2024, with its members joining PDP.
Former PSB president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh was subsequently appointed PDP senior vice-president, while Ba’kelalan assemblyman Baru Bian and Engkilili assemblyman Dr Johnical Rayong Ngipa became vice-presidents of the party. — DayakDaily
