Premier: Sarawak Pan Borneo Highway at 99.5 pct completion, to be ready by year-end

KUCHING, Nov 16: The Sarawak Pan Borneo Highway project is now at 99.5 per cent completion and is expected to be ready by the end of the year, says Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

ā€œThe project has been progressing well,ā€ said Abang Johari whose text speech was read by his deputy Dato Amar Douglas Uggah Embas who represented him at Karnival Celik Kewangan Sarawak 2024 at VivaCity Megamall today.

Meanwhile, Abang Johari said that coverage for the 4G network in Sarawak has reached 89.22 per cent.

He also said that it is the result of efforts from the National Digital Interconnection Program (Jendela) initiative implemented by the Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation Berhad (SDEC).
