KUCHING, Oct 24: Despite a general election looming, Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg did not miss out on making visits in conjunction with Deepavali today.

Firstly, he visited senior lawyer Shankar Ram Asnani and family at King’s Curry restaurant for lunch.

During his short speech, Abang Johari likened the Diwali lunch as a “King’s lunch” and sent his wife Puan Sri Datuk Amar Jumaani Tuanku Bujang’s greetings and apology for not being able to be present following a clash with her doctor’s appointment.
