KUCHING, May 19: A pregnant woman was among the three people who were injured after the four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle they were in skidded and overturned into a drain near a hotel at Jalan Lapangan Terbang here on Sunday night (May 18).
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 9.49pm and firefighters from the Batu Lintang station were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that the 4WD had overturned into a water-filled drain with three people trapped in it—the pregnant woman and two men.
“Firefighters extricated the victims by breaking the vehicle’s rear windshield, and were later brought to the hospital,” said the report.
