KUCHING, May 24: A house at Lorong Lee Ling 2B1, Jalan Matang-Kampung Paroh here was destroyed in an early morning fire today.
In a Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) report, an emergency call was received at 4.53am, and firefighters from the Batu Lintang station were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that the fire destroyed the semi-detached house measuring 30×60 feet.
After extinguishing the fire, firefighters did a site inspection before deeming the area safe and returning to the station.
No casualties were reported. The cause of the fire and the losses incurred are still being investigated. — DayakDaily
