KUCHING, Apr 24: The Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (Risda) office in Betong was partially damaged by an early-morning fire today.
In a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 4.02am, and firefighters from the Betong station were deployed.

The fire involved the rear section of the first floor of the office building, which spread to the file room.
The estimated size of the building is 22 x 50 square feet, which sustained approximately 45 per cent of damage.
No injuries or fatalities were reported in the incident. — DayakDaily
