MIRI, April 3: Miri Hospital has been experiencing power outage since 5.10am today.
The disruption was due to transformer damage, said the hospital’s management in a statement today, adding that Sarawak Energy Berhad is performing transformer replacement work which is expected to be completed within a day.
“Sarawak Energy has also supplied additional gensets to accommodate electricity supply in hospitals pending replacement of transformers.”
Basic clinical services have been restored and are operating as normal.
No untoward incidents have been reported due to the outage. — DayakDaily
