KUCHING, Feb 7: Syarikat Sesco Berhad, a subsidiary of Sarawak Energy Berhad, has announced a scheduled power supply interruption affecting part of the shophouses at Jalan Padungan this Sunday (Feb 9) to facilitate mains wiring maintenance works.
According to an official notice issued by Sesco, electricity supply will be disrupted from 3pm to 6pm on the stated date.
The maintenance work is necessary to upgrade the distribution system in the affected area.
“However, if the weather does not permit the work to be carried out, the planned shutdown will be postponed until further notice.
“We regret any inconvenience caused and will make every effort to restore electricity supply as quickly as possible,” it stated.
