KUCHING, July 10: A total of 270 new positions have been created by the Poslaju in Sarawak to expedite the delivery process in the state.
According to Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah, the national courier has experienced an increase in the number of parcels that need to be delivered, especially during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period.
He said the number of parcels has also increased for Sarawak and Sabah, while the number of flights has decreased too.
“But now, with the increase in flight frequency, I believe this matter has been solved and could further improve. At the same time, Poslaju has also created 270 new positions which is known as ‘Pos Rider’ for Sarawak,” he said during a launching ceremony of Malaysia Day logo celebration held at Wisma Pelita in Kuching Isthmus, today.–DayakDaily.
