Positive response to Children’s Day blood drive

MIRI, Nov 18: The Children’s Day blood drive held on Sunday at Boulevard Shopping Complex not only successfully registered a total of 120 donors, but also attracted 27 first-time donors.

This was revealed by Miri Red Crescent Blood Donors Recruitment Committee organising chairman, Karambir Singh, who also said there were 91 successful donors.


The event was jointly organised by Miri Red Crescent Blood Donors Recruitment Committee and Miri Hospital Visitors Board.

Karambir also thanked all the donors, Organising Team volunteers and sponsors for their strong support, on behalf of Miri Hospital Visitors Board and Miri Red Crescent Blood Donors Recruitment Committee and organising chairman, Kho Yok Chong.

The refreshments were partly sponsored by Miri Tai Poo Association, McDonald’s and Yeo’s.

The next Miri Red Crescent blood donation event, Miri Community Mass Blood Donation, will be on December 16 (Sunday) at Boulevard Shopping Complex, Level 3.
