SIBU, Oct 31: A pedestrian lost his life after he was knocked down by a motorcyclist at Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce last night.
Sibu district police chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili said in the 9pm accident, the victim was crossing the road near the traffic light junction when he was knocked down by a motorcyclist.
“The victim died on the spot. His death was pronounced by paramedics from the hospital,” he said.
Zulkipli said the identity of the victim is still unknown.
