Police solve 5 house break-in cases with arrest of 2 suspects

MIRI, Nov 24: Police believe they have solved five house break-in cases with the arrest of two suspects in Kampung Ugos, Niah, yesterday.

Miri police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah said the suspects were aged 21 and 30, and they were nabbed by a team from Miri Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at 4.10am.

“The duo was very involved in house break-ins in Batu Niah and Bekenu,” he said

During the raid, police found several items believed to be stolen goods inside the house. These items include a chainsaw, a flat television set and a small barrel containing coins.

Both suspects are currently in police custody. — DayakDaily
