KUCHING, Nov 22: Police are looking for the family of a 62-year-old man who was found dead at an unnumbered house in Lorong 5, Kampung Cina Tapah, yesterday.
Padawan District Police headquarters (IPD Padawan) in a statement today, revealed the deceased, Suhaimi Annuar, from Kuala Lumpur, was found dead by members of the public at around 2.15pm yesterday. The members of the public informed the Tapah police station about the incident.
“Based on the deceased’s identification card, his last address was No. 15 Jalan Daud, Kampung Baru, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, with the number 580606-71-5187,” the statement read.
The statement also noted the deceased’s remains are now at the Serian Hospital Forensics Department, and the police are still waiting for the deceased’s next-of-kin to come forward to help with the investigation and also funeral arrangements.
“The public who have information about the deceased are also urged to contact Tapah police station at 082-867236 or call Tapah police chief SM Hud Isa at 019-8682525,” the statement read. — DayakDaily
