Police investigate human bones found in Kpg Narum

MARUDI, July 24: Police are investigating a set of human bones found in a bush nearby Kampung Narum here, today.

Acting Baram police chief, ASP Jaimi Husin, confirmed the discovery that was made by a police patrolling team at 11am.

The police also found a Perodua Kelisa vehicle located about two meters from the spot where the bones were discovered

“At the moment, we are treating the case as sudden death until a post mortem is carried out. We have also yet to identify the remains,” he said when contacted.

Apart from the bones, police also found a pair of slippers (brand Supreme) near the remains.

Jaimi said the police are also investigating whether the discovery is connected with an elderly man, aged 61, who was reported missing two months ago.

The report on the missing person was lodged at Lutong police station. — DayakDaily
