Police hunt seven suspects in armed robbery case in Matang

KUCHING, June 4: The police are currently hunting seven individuals suspected of being involved in an armed robbery case at a shop at Batu 11 Jalan Matang, here.

Padawan District Police Chief Supt Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad is reported to have received a report regarding the incident and the hunt for the seven suspects is underway, with some of them already identified..

People with information about the incident are asked to come forward to help the investigation.

The armed robbery is said to have happened around 12 midnight on Saturday (June 3), where the incident was recorded by a closed circuit camera (CCTV) inside the premises.

The suspects are said to be armed with sharp and hard objects such as samurai swords, iron rods, and hammers.

According to reports, no one was hurt in the incident. — DayakDaily
