Police arrest three for robbing, attacking Indonesian man

MIRI, July 20: Police have arrested three men who allegedly robbed and assaulted an Indonesian man inside a public toilet on China Street here.

The robbery reportedly took place on May 1, around 6am.

During the incident, the victim sustained bodily injuries, as the suspects bashed him up before fleeing the scene with his valuables.


Following a report which was lodged over the incident, police mounted an operation to search for the suspects.

The trio was apprehended in Permyjaya and Tudan here following a public tip-off. — DayakDaily
