Pol-secs to Premier rally, demand action against ‘Bozz Jebat’ for alleged disrespectful remarks against Premier

13 political secretaries have filed a police report against 'Bozz Jebat' for alleged offensive remarks aimed at Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

KUCHING, Feb 29: As many as 13 political secretaries to the Premier of Sarawak, representing 30 others were present to file a police report against Zool Amali Hussin, also known as ‘Bozz Jebat’, for allegedly making disrespectful remarks against Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.

John Nyigor, one of the political secretaries, asserted: “He (Zool) also made a statement as if Sarawak is not part of Malaysia. (By saying) this is our country, in the video. This may create feelings of unhappiness.”


While accompanied by 12 other political secretaries to the Premier of Sarawak at the Satok Police Station today, John urged the police to take action to prevent other parties from repeating the same act.

John went on to say that the report is made under the provisions of Act Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 and Section 504 of the Penal Code.

“We want racial and religious harmony to continue in our country. People like that need to be taught a lesson,” he added.

Today, three police reports have been filed against Zool.

Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mancha Ata in a statement today confirmed that as of 11pm, police have received two reports at the Santubong police station and one report in the Gita police station. — DayakDaily
