KUCHING, March 17: Sarawak Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (SCCI) President Datuk Abang Abdul Karim Tun Openg urges its members to take advantage of the coming Business Exchange and Networking opportunity with the National Chambers of Commerce and Industries Malaysia (NCCIM) on March 28 until 29.

Abang Abdul in a statement today said the chamber also look forward to welcome the group of prominent businessmen and potential investors to Kuching for the two-day event.

He revealed that more than 30 SCCI members and business associates also attended the SCCI Networking Hour event held at the Chemsain Building in Rock Road on Wednesday (March 16).


During the programme, he said, the invited guest speaker, Deputy Director of Economic Planning Unit (EPU) Lester Matthew talked the participants through the key highlights of the Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030.

“The past two years have been inhibited by Covid-19, and now it is time for us to move ourselves forward towards recovery.

“We hope through platforms such as these, we can continually engage with our members and ensure inclusivity as we move forward to a high income and developed State in 2030,” he added.
