PKR Sarawak: Ali, Willie will bring “poisonous” racial politics into state

Joshua Jabeng

KUCHING, Aug 26: Sarawak Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) holds the view that the acceptance of its defected leaders into Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM), another West Malaysian-based party, would result in “poisonous” politics being brought into Sarawak.

The condemnation by Sarawak PKR political secretary Joshua Jabeng in a press statement today came following Saratok MP Ali Biju and Puncak Borneo MP Willie Mongin’s official announcement of joining PPBM over the weekend.

Joshua also mentioned Selangau MP and former state PKR chairman Baru Bian who joined Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) in May along with Batu Lintang MP See Chee How.

“Let us think for a while and ponder what would be the implications of all this to Sarawakians.

“Willie and Ali are now real Bersatu puppets who are responsible for ‘polluting’ and bringing in ‘poisonous’ racial politics into Sarawak,” claimed Joshua.

He said that the people suffer the consequences of betrayal and selfishness of elected representatives who only think of themselves.

“It is time for the ‘poisonous frogs’ to be given a lesson,” said Joshua, who called on constituents Saratok, Puncak Borneo and Selangau to take part in the upcoming Sarawak Election and reject politicians who have no stance and dignity.—DayakDaily
