KUCHING, July 1: A temporary partial road closure will be implemented at Jalan Lapangan Terbang here for 15 days starting today (July 1) until July 15, 2025, to facilitate pipe laying works.
According to Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro), the closure will take place daily from 9pm to 4.30am to minimise disruption to traffic flow during peak hours.
Motorists are advised to be cautious when driving in the affected area and to adhere to all traffic management measures, including road warning signs and speed limits, to ensure the safety of both road users and construction workers.
“Sarawak Metro will duly notify the public if there are any changes to this notification,” the notice stated.
Road users are also urged to plan their journeys accordingly during this period.
