KUCHING, June 6: A four-wheel-drive pickup truck moving along Jalan Bukit Marup, Engkilili caught on fire on Saturday morning.
The incident happened around 10.15am when the owner of the pickup saw fire and smoke coming out from the rear of the vehicle when he was driving.

According to the owner, he was heading towards Saratok from Sri Aman for work when the incident happened. He immediately got down from his truck, attempting to put out the fire by using a fire extinguisher inside his truck but failed.
An Emergency Response Team (ERT) team from NAIM GAMUDA that reached the scene attempted to put out the fire by using the water from the water tanker. Bomba later joined the ERT team and managed to put out the fire.—DayakDaily
