KUCHING, Oct 24: PETRONAS is marking ten years of supporting the Sarawak Regatta – Kuching Waterfront Festival in 2026, continuing its involvement in one of Sarawak’s most cherished cultural traditions.
Over the years, PETRONAS has contributed to the Sarawak Regatta in various capacities, as Platinum Sponsor, as well as Gold Sponsor.
In a media release, PETRONAS Sarawak general manager Norazibah Md Rabu said the Sarawak Regatta has long been a meaningful part of Sarawak’s cultural heritage, bringing together people from all walks of life and creating lasting memories that continue to be shared across generations.
“PETRONAS is proud to have been part of the Sarawak Regatta for the past 10 years. We value the opportunity to support an event that continues to bring communities together and showcase the vibrant spirit of Sarawak.”
Under PETRONAS this year, there will be a merchandise sales booth by PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (PDB), alongside an interactive game booth by PETROSAINS.
The Sarawak Regatta remains a much-anticipated event on Sarawak’s calendar, bringing together participants, families and visitors to the Kuching Waterfront to experience the excitement of the traditional boat races and festivities. — DayakDaily
