Petra Jaya Hospital now at 80 pct completion, operations targeted in Q3 2025

KUCHING, Nov 16: The construction of Petra Jaya Hospital is now over 80 per cent complete, with operations projected to begin in the third quarter of 2025.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad stated that the project is currently on track, marking significant progress after facing delays for several years.

“The target for operation is the third quarter of next year. That’s the projection. So, as they said, let’s pray for it.

“Yes, we need to push and nudge the contractor to avoid any more delays or extensions. We’re on track, and things are looking good. This time, we want to ensure it is delivered,” he said during a press conference after officiating ‘Program Jelajah Agenda Nasional Malaysia Sihat’ (ANMS) & ‘Madani Afiat’ at Celebration Square, Petra Jaya, here today.
