MIRI, March 26: Road users can bid farewell to traffic congestions by the end of the month, as the Permyjaya flyover and the dual carriageway will be open to traffic by March 31.

This was disclosed by Minister of Transport Sarawak Datuk Sri Lee Kim Shin on Friday after conducting a visit to the project site.

“Hopefully the daily traffic jam will be resolved with the opening of this dual carriageway,” Lee said.

Earlier, Lee was briefed by the Public Works Department (JKR), Project Consultant and contractor on the latest progress of the project.

Lee has also put up a request for another traffic light to be built near the junction to Vista Perdana which has been approved and scheduled to start construction sometime in April. — DayakDaily
