KUCHING, June 19: The Raja Muda and Raja Puan Muda of Perlis have arrived in Kuching today for a four-day official visit, during which they will attend several cultural and community events, including the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) and the Gawai Dayak Parade.
According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), His Royal Highness the Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail, and Her Royal Highness the Raja Puan Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil arrived this afternoon at the Kuching International Airport (KIA).
They were received by Sarawak Deputy Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development, Dato Gerald Rentap Jabu.
This evening, the royal couple is scheduled to attend a private dinner with the Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.
Tomorrow, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin dan Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen will visit the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre in the morning, followed by attendance at the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) at the Sarawak Cultural Village in the evening.
Their Royal Highnesses are scheduled to witness the 2025 Gawai Dayak Parade at the Square Tower, Jalan Main Bazaar, Kuching Waterfront on Saturday.
The royal couple and their entourage are scheduled to depart from KIA for Penang at 7.15pm on Sunday, marking the conclusion of their Royal Highnesses’ official visit to Kuching. – DayakDaily
