KUCHING, March 16: More than 50 children from Rumah Amal Nur Murni were treated to a fun party by Persatuan Suri dan Anggota Wanita Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (Perisma) Sarawak today.

Led by their chairwoman, Sorryta Asgar Khan, the entourage also surprised those children born in March with a birthday cake.

Among the activities held at the centre were playful-and casual-style briefing on fire and safety, which attracted the children’s attention.

“We also showed them the concept of stop-drop-and-roll. The children were very happy and excited. They also performed some songs for us, too. Alhamdulilah, the event went well,” Sorryta commented.
