Pensioner’s house in Pujut burgled

MIRI, Feb 16: A 60-something pensioner lodged a police report on Friday after discovering his house in Pujut was burgled.

Among the items stolen were two flatscreen TV sets (32 inches and 42 inches), a karaoke set, a DVD player and a briefcase containing some important documents. Total loss is estimated at RM4,000.

Based on the closed-circuit television (CCTV) installed in the house, there were two burglars and they could have gained entry from the kitchen door at about 2pm on Thursday.

The victim only knew his house had been burgled when he returned home at about 2pm yesterday.

At press time, no arrest have been made. — DayakDaily
