KAPIT, Sept 15: A man has been arrested for allegedly taking voyeuristic pictures of a woman in a toilet recently.
Sarawak police chief CP Datuk Aidi Ismail said the 30-year-old man, a civil servant, was arrested following a police report lodged by the 19-year-old victim.
According to preliminary investigations, the incident was reported to have taken place in the toilet of a restaurant where the victim is working.
“The incident was reported to have happened while the victim was urinating at a restaurant in Kapit,” he said
The suspect was subsequently arrested and his mobile phone was also confiscated for further investigation.
The case is being probed under Section 509 of the Penal Code for intending to insult the modesty of the woman. — DayakDaily
