KUCHING, April 10: Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) has been doing its part to curb the spread of Covid-19 by sourcing and purchasing the much needed personal protective equipment (PPE) for the frontliners.

Its secretary-general Datuk Nelson Balang Rining said the party has presented 80,000 surgical masks, 2,500 disposable isolation gowns of various sizes, 3,000 boot covers, as well as 3,000 disposable masks to the State Disaster Management Committee.

“The party is just doing its part in this time when the whole nation is fighting to stop a pandemic.

“Whatever that can be done to lighten the load of the state disaster management committee or any other frontliners, we will do it for them. The frontliners deserve all our support,” he said when contacted.
