KUCHING, April 12: Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) has notified Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar regarding three former Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) assemblymen joining the party.
PDP deputy president Datuk Henry Jinep when contacted by DayakDaily said the notification was handed over earlier today.
“We have hand delivered our official letter to DUN Speaker and also to Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg on the three former-PSB assemblymen joining into PDP,” he said.
On April 10, Mohamad Asfia said he has not received any official notification with regards to the dissolution of PSB and its three sitting assemblymen subsequently joining PDP. — DayakDaily
