KUCHING, July 30: Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) has granted full autonomy for its branches in Sarawak and Sabah to manage party affairs independently of its supreme council.
Its president Datuk Larry Sng Wei Shien, in a Facebook post yesterday (July 29), said the decision was made as a recognition of the unique history of both States.
Meanwhile, Sng said he foresees great things moving forward and a new beginning for PBM after the recently concluded PBM’s annual general meeting.
“The key takeaway for today is that our party direction is crystal clear; we are here to support the unity government.
“In addition, we are and will always be a multi-racial party that addresses the interest of all Malaysians,” he said.
He added that PBM is working with the government leadership and shall continue to contribute positively towards nation-building. — DayakDaily
