KUCHING, May 25: Members of the public have the right to know whether the correct vaccine is used or that the syringe does contain the vaccine before receiving the Covid-19 jab.

In saying this, Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) president Voon Lee Shan said most patients turned their eyes away from seeing the vaccination process taking place and could only feel the needle being pierced into their body.

“Needles of the syringe could be pierced into the body, but, the question is, whether the vaccine has really been administered into the body?

“It is observed that most of the time persons who are accompanying the patients were not near the patients to observe how the vaccination process was done.

“The vaccination process is very fast, which, normally is about five seconds and it takes a very sharp eye to see if there are any discrepancies,” he said in a statement today.

He was responding to several videos that went viral, showing that certain medical professionals in charge of administering the vaccines did not properly inject the vaccine into the patients’ bodies. The videos have yet to be verified for its authenticity.

“Members of the public, please be reminded that you have a right to know whether the correct vaccine has been used or that the syringe does contain the vaccine before the vaccination process is conducted.” — DayakDaily
