PBK info chief: Recent political saga exposes PH and PN-GPS’ self-interests

KUCHING, March 8: Sarawakians should see clearly now that GPS and PH are all politically geared toward personal interest under the guise of “negotiating for more autonomy for Sarawak” as they have not taken the golden opportunity to unilaterally declare independence from the federation of Malaysia based on United Nations Article 1541 and 1514, according to Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) publicity and information chief Arthur Wong.

In a press statement, he claimed PBK is the only political party currently working on the concept of “In Quest of Independence”.

He asserted that Sarawakian could no longer trust Pakatan Harapan (PH) owing to its unfulfilled election promises with decisions and plans allegedly decided by Malayan leaders.

“It is clear that PH will not give Sarawak back our land, marine wealth, oil and gas taken by the federal government. This will leave Sarawakians crumbs.”

Wong also questioned whether the cooperation between Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) with Perikatan Nasional (PN) would benefit Sarawakians.

He noted that GPS chairman and Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg claimed that placing their full support behind PN is for Malaysia’s stability and that GPS is not in the PN pact.

However, he questioned what Sarawakians would get out of it and if it would lead to the interests and rights of non-Muslims being further eroded. He also questioned what GPS would do if either Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) or United Malays National Organisation (Umno) decide to impose Hudud at the federal level. — DayakDaily
