KUCHING, Sept 13: PBDSB underwent a restructuring, re-branding and renewal process after the party received approval to operate by the Registrar of Societies (ROS), revealed its president Bobby William.
“The party’s reshuffle and reform were also made to fill in the vacant seats in the party’s Supreme Council, whereby Mengga Mikui was appointed as PBDSB (Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru) permanent advisor, Major (R) Moses Ripai appointed as the party’s acting deputy president, and Budat Jaul as the acting president for the central zone.
“This includes the appointment of Richard Hamit, as the acting president for the southern zone, while Adman Jubang remains as the vice-president for the Northern zone,” he disclosed in a press statement today.
He added he has accepted the resignation of PBDSB Youth leader Richard, and has appointed Sergeant (R) Chely Jenggu to fill in the vacancy, as well as appointed Nicholas Dominic as the party’s information officer.
Meanwhile, Bobby also declared that he will be contesting in the Senadin constituency in the coming state election and this has received approval from the party’s Supreme Council members.
The number of seats the party will contest will be decided before nomination day and after meeting with its allies in Gabungan Anak Sarawak (Gasak). — DayakDaily
