PBDSB president’s remains to be flown to Kuching tonight

KUCHING, March 7: The remains of Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDSB) president Cobbold John Lusoi, who passed away from a heart attack at his home in Kuala Lumpur this morning, is expected to arrive in Kuching at 8.05pm tonight.

Thereafter, the remains will be taken to his family home in Sungai Pinang, Simpang Punda.

Cobbold leaves behind his wife Puyang Laing who worked in KL and three daughters, all of them graduated and currently residing in New Zealand.


Born on March 15, 1962, Cobbold received his early education at Chung Hua Primary School, went to College Tun Haji Bujang in Miri and graduated with a Masters degree from an institution in the United States.

Hailing from Ubah, Pantu, Cobbold was elected PBDSB president in July 2016, taking over the helm from Louis Jarau. — DayakDaily
